As the Group owner of Farnworth Ventures we are looking to scale operations within the automotive industry while adhering to the country’s vision for sustainable and knowledge-based economic growth.

Key Responsibilities / Skills

Strategic Direction and Vision: Setting the overarching vision, mission, and long-term strategy for the entire group, ensuring all individual companies align with this direction.
Corporate Governance: Establishing and maintaining high standards of ethical, transparent, and accountable governance across all entities, often by setting group-wide codes of conduct (like the Tata Code of Conduct).
Financial Stewardship: Overseeing the group's financial health, including capital allocation, funding strategies, financial planning, and ensuring financial reporting is robust and accurate.
Risk Management: Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating major financial, legal, and operational risks across the portfolio of companies. Structuring the group (e.g., using a holding company) to reduce financial and legal liability by separating assets and operations.
Appointing and Governing Leadership: Selecting, evaluating, and governing the senior leadership (e.g., CEOs and Boards of Directors) of the subsidiary companies.
Value Creation and Maximization: Focusing on maximizing the overall value of the group, which can involve identifying synergies across operations, facilitating opportunistic acquisitions, and potentially divesting underperforming assets.
Compliance: Ensuring the group adheres to all relevant legal, regulatory, and statutory filing obligations (like tax reporting and beneficial owner disclosure).
